No One's Ever Said That Before

A patient of mine (Faye) came in today to get adjusted
and get some fish oil. After her adjustment, she told me
something I've never heard anyone else say in my office
before. But now that she's said it, I'm sure I'll be hearing
it a lot more often.

'I'm going down to Chick-Fil-A and get a salad.'

Our Chick-Fil-A just opened a few weeks ago. And
you'd think it was a visitation from the Pope or something;
people were camping out days ahead of time, to get their
chance at free chicken for a year. With Starbuck's opening
later this month, I believe that Madison has officially hit the
Big Time.

Truett Cathy, the Founder and Chairman of Chick-Fil-A, is a
home-grown Atlanta-boy himself. Whenever I drive by, I
think about one of his quotes that's mounted on the wall of
our store.

It says, 'Food is essential to life. Therefore, make it good.'

Food is essential to life. And some food more essential than
others. In nutritional lingo, 'essential' means that your body
can't make them; you have to get them from the food
you eat.

For instance, there are only eight 'essential' amino acids,
but your body can make the other 12 or so it needs with
a biological mix-n-match.

Also, there are two major essential fatty acids, called

Omega-6s are pro-inflammatory. Both play an important
