Take Off more than the Mask

Last night, we had bright, festive jack-o-lanterns. Now,
they're dark, sad, wilted compost. The big bowl is empty,
and the wastebasket's full of wrappers. Our neighbor
Jim (God bless him) went on his annual post-traumatic...I
mean post-Halloween trash run around the block. A few
trick-or-treaters leave evidence behind; which isn't too
bad, considering we had almost 800.

After a big night of candy or other celebrating, sometimes
it's hard to get back on the straight and narrow, because
you may be creating the 'celebrating' habit.

Think about this: next it's Thanksgiving, then Christmas,
then New Year's, Valentine's Day, Easter...you get the
picture. The only people training us better than Hallmark
are the candy companies.

It's ok to have some candy on occasion, but a steady
stream makes you weak and sick. That's not really news.
But most people don't realize how much junk (not just candy,
but chips, cookies, etc...all that fun stuff) they actually
eat; and how those chemicals affect your mood and your
health.

Jim Rohn says, 'Success is nothing more than a few simple
disciplines, practiced every day; while failure is simply a
few errors in judgment, repeated every day. It is the
accumulative weight of our disciplines and our judgments
that leads us to either fortune or failure.'

The accumulated weight of our disciplines and judgments
about what we eat is leading to our 'accumulated weight'.

If you're not happy with your size, shape or your health,
now's a great time to do something about it. To change
your disciplines.

One good habit to start is drinking whey protein each day.
Whey helps burn blubber and build muscle. It keeps you full
longer, so you won't feel like snacking so much. And it
improves your mood and immune function.

A steady stream of whey helps you feel better, and feel
more like yourself. That'll make it easier to take off that
mask--and take off the extra poundage (before the
Christmas pictures.)

Gotta go knock the sulgs off the front porch (they must
love pumpkin)

Have a great clean-up day

P.S. If you really want to get back in shape fast, you've
got to reconnect to your original eating pattern (give or
take a microwave). The Caveman Cuisine Quick-Start
plan helps you make the changes slowly, over three
weeks, so that you can develop your 'few simple disciplines'
very simply. (don't worry: no slugs) Get yours at
